Visa Information
DEADLINE: We strongly recommend that as soon as the hotel
booking is confirmed, the visa application is logged. There
is a minimum application period of 10 days.
Whilst events in focus can assist with visa applications the
law states that this can only be done in conjunction with
accommodation booked through events in focus.
Visas will be processed on a normal / urgent basis.
Normal visas require 10 working days. Urgent visas require a
minimum of 3 working days (Additional charges apply). Please
note, Immigration in the U.A.E. is closed on Fridays,
Saturdays and Public Holidays.
When the visa has been approved it is forwarded to
Immigration at the airport and kept in visitor arrivals.
events in focus will send confirmation once the visa has
been arranged, sending a copy via email. Please carry this
copy with you when traveling.
All visitors should have a valid return travel ticket and a
passport valid for a minimum of three months.
Due to a law passed in 2006 by the U.A.E. Government with
regards to people absconding, no visas will be issued unless
a separate security deposit of US$1500.00 is received. The
deposit will be refunded once proof of departure from the
U.A.E. has been received. A Scanned copy of the exit stamp
must be emailed to events in focus in order to claim the
deposit refund.
The event organisers are not in a position to sponsor visa
applications.
The visa does not entitle the visitor to take up permanent
work in the U.A.E.
Visa Confirmation must be obtained before departure.
96 Hour Transit Visa Available on Arrival
The transit visa is granted according to the following
conditions and procedures of airport immigration upon
arrival:
The carrying airline submit a list of the transit passengers
to the airport authorities
After the list has been approved by the authorities the
passport is endorsed with the period permitted to stay in
the country
It is conditional that the passenger is heading to another
country other than the one just traveled from.
